Heart, a registered Non Profit Organisation, developed FoodTents to enable NGOs and schools to grow their own food. A FoodTent is like a big tent made of shade cloth. It is 2m high, 4m wide and 9m long, and can be erected in 45 minutes (3 hours including vegetable planting). This make-shift greenhouse increases the production of vegetables significantly. One FoodTent provides food for 50 - 80 children per annum.
heart drives real social change by creating, incubating and establishing social enterprises which are sustainable, scalable, replicable and have the potential for long-term social impact on the ground. Heart has a strong history of creating and developing powerful social projects that have generated impact in the community through a financially sustainable business model. heart offers social entrepreneurs a physical hub environment, with hot desks, shared board room and reception facilities, internet connectivity and a creative environment to test their innovative ideas.

heart has also established a School, designed to practically teach social entrepreneurs on how to plan, startup and scale up their innovative ideas into thriving, sustainable social enterprises.
