The network of Facilitadores of Bariloche, Argentina is a nonprofit organization with the mission of promoting personal and organizational transformation in the public sector through active citizen participation and consensus-building.

Our goals:

- Educate people to be active members of civil society
- Promote the development of networks and alliances between sectors and organizations.

Facilitation is a professional activity comprised of a technical and an artistic component.

- On the technical side, skills and tools are used to facilitate group processes in which stated objectives are achieved by making effective use of time, resources and human potential, and by improving communication and mutual understanding among stakeholders.
- On the artistic side, the facilitator uses his or her own sensibility, intuition and personality to inspire self-reflection and to generate positive and creative discussion among participants.

Through the exchange of ideas in the form of discussions and proposals the group seeks to achieve a workable consensus. In this way, the participants learn to reflect, to identify and to develop novel solutions.
