"Casa do Amor" (House of the brotherly love) is a senior home for homeless women, who live without social security in the large city Recife in the northeast of Brazil.
The christian initiative was created 1994 of the Brazilian Daniel Rolim (operation manager) and the German Martina Franck. They accepted homeless old humans of the road and from poverty quarters to the home for the elderly Casa do Amor created by them.
The workers of the Casa do Amor make since this time these for without means one possible a good life in family-similar atmosphere up to their death. The affectionate atmosphere and openness of the home Casa do Amor have radiant emittance on the whole city quarter. Daily come neighbours, friends and needy ones with their requests into the house: Problems are discussed and merry celebrations are celebrated.
