About us
The name CHER!SH stands for the pillars of our work in Ghana: CHildren, Education, Rights, and SHelter.
Children need a chance to develop their lives successfully. Many children in rural New Koforidua, Ghana, however do not have this chance. They are born into poverty, grow up with no prospects of good school education or vocational training, and remain stuck in poverty, which is thus handed down from generation to generation.
Our aim is to give disadvantaged children, the chance to a self-determined and economically independent life, thereby breaking the cycle of poverty. Therefore, we have built a children's center in New Koforidua together with our Ghanaian partner organization, Beads of Life Foundation.
We collaborate closely with local stakeholders, placing particular emphasis on the sustainability and transparency of the projects.
CHER!SH e.V. is recognized as a non-profit organization by the Münster tax office and is authorized to issue donation receipts.

Wir haben 563,76 € Spendengelder erhalten
Vielen Dank für eure Spenden! Mit den erhaltenen Geldern werden wir den Gruppenraum sowie die Personalzimmer fliesen. Dann ist der Innenausbau des Haupthauses endlich abgeschlossen. Gemeinsam mit weiteren externen Spenden haben wir außerdem genug Geld erhalten, um den Sonnenschutz in Form eines Vordachs für den Hortbereich zu errichten. Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich bei allen Spendern für eure Unterstützung und freuen uns riesig, dass der Bereich der Bauarbeiten damit erstmal abgeschlossen ist und wir uns anschließend ganz auf den laufenden Betrieb konzentrieren können. Toll!
