The Foundation was created to take action to try to stop the atrocities inflicted to the animals. The moroccen government is controlling the dog population with Strichnin poison, and is killing thousands of dogs everywhere. This is how the dogs and cats are treated in morocco.I can tell you a lot about the donkeys and horses. Most of these are owned by poor people who treat them with cruelty and ignorance and it is almost impossible to see in Marrakech a healthy beauttiful equine working in the streets. Most of them are sick and injured. Our activies include taking in any abused our injured animals (dogs, cats, donkey, horsrs) We spay - neuter all the animals in our shelter and in our area. We treat the equines of our area for free; all the peasants and farmers bring their animals to us for free treatment.
