I have been around since the very beggining (read more below). I visit the place from time to time either to see my friends there, for wider gatherings or to run/participate in training/course.
What is your connection to the project or the carrier?I have witnessed how the idea was expressed, being brainstormed, formed, as well as then finally 2 years ago at the international conference "Leading change for a sustainable world" at www.caux.ch two young men, Valik and Serhey, decided to go and start turning it into reality (perhaps as a response to a call/challenge of the conference).
From then on it's been truly inspiring, and not without challenges:)
I can say it is infectious:) as since then many have joined in (some left), have given a helping hand, supported, critisized, challenged, have taken on the responsibility, loved it!
It holds the potential to respond to the current needs....of humanity as it is an attempt to bring more sustainability into the way we are living and interacting with nature, into human relationships and functioning of a community/society.
Noone said it is gonna be easy. However it could be one of the tools of how to bring about the changes we do need and want to see in our surrounding (to start with).
I have visited the place a few times, donated modest amount of money, helped with translation sometimes.
What is your connection to the project or the carrier?I have been knowing those the organizers for many years and I am confident about their virtue and values.
Your positive report from Baranivka village, Shyshaky district:Because this idea is completely new and unique in Ukraine. There is no other place I know, which could be such a powerful resource for ANYONE who would like to use it with good motivation: it is an ooportunity to build a true community, to promote physically and psychologically healthy lifestyle and to create a harbour for changemakers.
