New CARAVAN Team on Ground

We are the new CARAVAN. 9 people (4♀, 5♂).

We are Georgina, Aglaë, Charlotte, Benedicta, Callum, Maxime, Jakob, Paul, Julius. Our Ages range from 18 to 22, Paul being the youngest, Maxime being the oldest. Our nationalities are Austrian, American, Spain, Belgian, French, British and German. Our intentions are the same: we go to Lebanon, serve disabled people, attend university and live the Christian faith. Easter Camps brought joy to the handicapped

Two Easter camps made it possible for many of our handicapped friends to leave the daily life in the homes and have vacation up in the mountains of Lebanon. The CARAVAN organised these and they were a full success!! The handicapped were very happy and had a great time. Fun activities, lots of music, joy, laughter and friendship made these days unforgettable.

New perspective in the home for the girls

On tuesday morning the team went up to Deir el Quamar again into the home of the handicapped girls.

In the home of the girls they got the possibility to visit them in their rooms upstairs. Now they saw loads of new girls they never met before during their services. Most of them were just lying their beds and never have any input. So the CARAVAN team came and proofed one more time, how good their choir skilly were. The girls really enjoyed this little change in their daily life!

Cooking utensils for the volunteers

The volunteers, that take care of the disabled in Lebanon, need new cooking utensils in order to be able to cook and thus have the strength to give the disabled as much love and fun as possible. We need a big cooking pot for approximately 12 people.

Craft stuff for the disabled

It is very important for the disabled to train their motor skills. An easy way to train motor skills, is to do handicrafts. In order to craft together with the disabled several times we need a lot of material such as paper, chalk, dough, crayons etc.
