Medical Assistance

I do not know this lady but I have had many personal experiences of financing the treatment of sick children and adults in the Philippines. In my humble opinion this story rings true. Parents are often greatly anxious to remove their children from in-patient status as rapidly as possible because they cannot possibly afford to pay the "board & lodging" fees. People I know have had to negotiate with great difficulty to get children discharged from hospital, using promissory notes & guarantees of payment by me to get them out past the security guards. Another consideration is that children must often share beds in overcrowded hospitals so the risk of catching an infection there is high.

Ich kenne Manila ein wenig -wie man als Europäer eben eine 12 Mio Metropole kennen kann. Sehr viel Leid an fast allen Ecken der Stadt.
Allgemein sind Krankenversicherungen auf den Philippinen nichts normales...hier m u s s geholfen werden. Viele mit einem kleinen Betrag machen s e h r viel g r o ß e s aus - können einfach helfen, schlimmeres zu verhindern.
