Sahathai Foundation

Sahathai Foundation is a local Thai NGO established since 1976 with 2 main objectives to
1. strengthen family unit of families in crisis in order to prevent child abuse, neglect, maltreatment, and abandonment so that children can remain with their biological family under well prepared circumstance
2. offer family-based alternative care (foster family care) of babies and young children whose birth parents' care is found unsafe or not prepared during the period that the reunification of the child with his/her biological family or other permanent family care is not yet possible.
