panda! is a rehabilitation and support programme for street children and people in need in Nakuru, Kenya. We offer street children and young adults trainings and workshops to develop their skills geared towards self reliance and job creation. With the selling of a self-produced local magazine, they can create a small income and get a chance to start a better life.
The project is financed out of the money earned by selling advertisement space to business people around Nakuru. With any surplus money or given donations we plan to grow the rehabilitation center and build a fund to support people in need.
The main objective is to get young people off the streets and support poor families around Nakuru to avoid that more children come to the streets.
